Radosław Karabanowski is the winner of the third edition of the My First Gallery project!

Radosław Karabanowski has been creating paintings in acrylic and oil for eight years, combining classic and unconventional tools. His painting is intuitive and process-based—growing from emotions, personal symbols, and reflection on human existence. A native of Rzeszów, he graduated in Environmental Engineering from the Rzeszów University of Technology and is interested in psychology and the mechanisms that shape humankind. He values ​​an active lifestyle and close contact with movement and nature.

• Adrianna Gajdziszewska, curator of My First Gallery, about the artist: "Authenticity and sincerity of gesture are becoming particularly important values ​​in art today—and it is precisely these qualities that we have found in the work of Mr. Radosław Karabanowski. Looking at his works, one gets the impression of encountering painting stemming from an inner need to create, in which the image is created without calculation, in direct contact with matter, gesture, and tool. A consistently constructed language based on layering, trace, and the tension between control and intuition places these works close to contemporary material and post-painting practices. This work is developed outside of academic training, thus maintaining independence, a fresh perspective, and a rare sincerity of painterly expression."
