10.12.2025

Kaja Bajowska from Rzeszów has illustrated a new edition of J.K. Rowling's iconic Harry Potter book series! You can now view it in the Virtual Gallery of the Rzeszów Cultural Incubator.

This new edition of the wizarding world series marks the 25th anniversary of the publication of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" in Poland. It's a real treat for fans of the series in Poland and Rzeszów, as the author of the illustrations for the Polish edition is from Rzeszów. The first volume of the series, with a cover designed by Kaja Bajowska, was published on October 29th of this year.

Estrada Rzeszowska and the Rzeszów Cultural Incubator have surprised everyone with a special St. Nicholas Day gift: an exhibition in the Virtual Gallery showcasing Kaja Bajowska's original work. This exhibition features illustrations created for the Harry Potter series, competition entries, and the most intimate pieces – spontaneously created from the heart. One thing remains constant: their subject is always a human being, captured in intense colors and shapes, with the artist's characteristic attention and tenderness.
The exhibition is complemented by a video in which the artist discusses the creative process and the behind-the-scenes illustrations for the series of books about the famous wizard, her collaboration with the publisher, and her inspirations.

The exhibition is on view until January 9th on the Rzeszów Culture Incubator website.
