We invite you to the second edition of the My First Gallery project – a project supporting artists who have not yet made their solo debuts.

The project aims to educate, support, and develop artists' skills by creating a space for artistic expression and providing professional curatorial support. The initiative is aimed at individuals who have not yet had a solo exhibition. If you have the courage to present your work to a wider audience, this open call is for you!

We are open to artists who are just beginning their artistic journey but are already expressing their individuality and seeking a space to showcase their unique artistic voice. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in exhibition management, expand professional contacts, and launch an artistic career in a professional environment.

What do we offer?

• Mentorship from an experienced artist – you will receive support in creating an exhibition concept, implementing the project, and developing your work. Regardless of your artistic field, the curator will help you take your idea to the next level.
• Professional exhibition catalog – your work will be immortalized in a catalog that will be distributed to event attendees. This is an excellent opportunity to create professional documentation of your work.
• Career Development – This is your opportunity to showcase your work to the world, establish valuable contacts within the artistic community, and gain experience that will help you in future projects.

Project Curator: Adrianna Gajdziszewska
Visual artist and art historian, specializing in sculpture, installation, and ceramics. She has participated in numerous exhibitions, competitions, and residencies in Poland and abroad. She has received scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Santander Bank, and the KPO, and has been recognized twice in "Kompas Sztuki" (Art Compass) (2023, 2024). The creator of the @twardasztuka_com portal, she combines artistic activity with education, developing teaching materials and conducting lectures and workshops. She is an art history exam examiner.

Who can apply?
Adult artists associated with Rzeszów who have not yet held a solo exhibition. We welcome artists from various fields: painting, sculpture, new media, visual arts, photography, ceramics, and more.
