The National Festival of Music Bands - Rockowa Noc (Rock Night) has become an essential part of the event calendar in the capital of Podkarpacie. Rockowa Noc is not only a party with good quality music. It is also a competition for young bands that do not have contracts with record companies, and through this event have the chance to present themselves to a wide audience. Contestants compete mainly for the statuette of Tadeusz Nalepa, but the prize is also the possibility to perform during the next edition of Rock Night and a certain number of hours in a professional recording studio. One of the most important elements of the Rockowa Noc festival is the concert of rock stars. The audience in Rzeszów has already enjoyed concerts of such bands as Lux Torpeda, Oddział Zamknięty, IRA, COMA, Myslovitz, Proletaryat, Corpiklaani czy Vader.
