The Rock Night

The National Festival of Musical Bands Rockowa Noc has become a permanent fixture in the calendar of events in the capital of Podkarpacie. Rockowa Noc is not only an event with a good musical atmosphere - it is also a competition for young bands that do not have contracts with record companies, and which, thanks to this event, have a chance to present themselves to a wide audience. The competition is primarily about the Nalepa statuette, but the prize is also the opportunity to perform during the next edition of Rockowa Noc and use of our professional recording studio Estrada Studio. An inseparable element of the Rockowa Noc festival is also a concert of stars. The following bands have already performed for the Rzeszów audience: Vader, Riverside, Korpiklaani, KSU, Coma, TSA, Acid Drinkers, Dezerter, Lux Torpeda, Oddział Zamknięty, Myslovitz and Proletaryat.

This year's edition will take place on 15-16 November in the Student Culture Zone of the Rzeszów University of Technology.

ROCK'N'FITNESS

Rock'n'Fitness® is an innovative class combining dance with a love of heavier rhythms. During intensive cardio exercises, both old rock classics and energizing new releases from the world of guitar riffs resound from the speakers. At Rock'n'Fitness®, music is more than just a background for aerobics. An integral part of the classes is learning original dance routines to carefully selected songs (including Metallica, Rammstein, Luxtorpeda, AC/DC, Limp Bizkit, Kult and other foreign and Polish artists). This is a space where every rocker has the opportunity to dance to their heart's content.

SUPERVOID MESSENGERS

Supervoid Messengers is a band from Rzeszów formed in 2017, basing their music on a strong rhythm section, two electric guitars and a sampler. They move in a wide spectrum of post-metal music, sometimes trance and with elements of noise rock.

LAS TRUMIEN

A Katowice-Wrocław collaboration – sludge and doom from the dark corners of Silesia, embellished with Polish lyrics inspired by the darkest stories of crime. The band, associated with Piranha Music, has five releases to its credit, including the EPs Las Trumien and Więcej Śmierci, as well as the albums Liczącz umarłych and Głódnią zbrodnia. In 2024, they will return with new material – Budowniczowie grozy.

PERCIVAL SCHUTTENBACH

The largest folk metal band in Poland, combining Slavic culture with heavy sounds. The group is led by Katarzyna Bromirska (cello, vocals) and Mikołaj Rybacki (guitar), creating an energetic show. The band became famous for co-creating the award-winning soundtrack for the game Wiedźmin 3: Dziki Gon and has toured all over Europe, performing, among others, at alongside Marilyn Manson, Paradise Lost and Arkona.

DEUS MORTEM

The constant search for the ultimate truth that goes beyond the imagination of the human being, the material world and its limitations manifested itself with the founding of Deus Mortem in December 2008. The band's work is immersed in themes such as death and the afterlife, and evokes the spirit of Black Metal from the 80s and 90s. What's more, you can even hear echoes of old hard rock influences here. From the very beginning, the band has emphasized the completeness of forms, which results in excellent songwriting - Deus Mortem's strongest point.

At the end of each evening Karola and Tomek have prepared sets that you can go wild to! These will be strong dance accents in a rock atmosphere!

LEEPY

Leepy are four ambitious musicians from Tychy, who are united by their open minds and great joy of creation. Their music is a lively mix of alternative rock, rap and blues, and each concert is an explosion of energy flowing straight from the heart. On stage, they feel fully themselves and share authentic emotions that move the audience. The past year was a breakthrough for the band - Leepy performed on numerous stages, including during the Juwenalia IGRY, the Review of Rock Bands of the UEK Kraków Juwenalia, and the National Review Scyzoryki, where they won first place. The band took part in many music reviews, regularly taking high places. The year 2024 began for Leepy on a strong note - the premiere of the debut album "Fatum", which was met with enthusiastic reception from critics and listeners.

HALUCYNOGEN

Halucynogen is a band formed in January 2006 that has played dozens of concerts in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine. The band's characteristic heavy guitar riffs inspired by death, thrash, hardcore and black metal make it impossible to confuse them with anyone else. This is musical tar that does not succumb to trends and algorithms.

BLACK RIVER

The band debuted in 2008 with an album simply called "Black River". Since then, several other releases, singles, and music videos have been released. The band has played a lot of prestigious concerts. They disappeared from the scene for a few years and then reappeared. They are still playing and have no intention of stopping. The band is currently working on an album, and here ATTENTION!!!, sung entirely in our native language. New compositions are being created, which should see the light of day in 2025.
BLACK RIVER is formed by a group of friends seasoned in many battles, who have eaten from many breads.

TURBO 

The band Turbo, existing since 1980, is one of the icons of the Polish metal scene. At the Rockowa Noc festival, they will present their greatest hits, including songs from their debut album Dorosłe dzieci, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Turbo has released 12 studio albums, and their music combines heavy and thrash metal with a characteristic sound that has gained recognition in Poland and abroad over the years. Prepare yourselves for an energetic concert full of surprises – there will be no shortage of new compositions and acoustic arrangements!
