Śladem detali architektury Rzeszowa

As part of the "Time of Art" series, this time we venture into the city. We invite you on a walk with Bartek Pochopień, during which we will examine the facades of Rzeszów's city center and the details hidden within them.

We will set off along 3 Maja Street – from Fara, through Dekerta Street, to Słowackiego Street and the area around the Philharmonic. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to explore a whole lexicon of architectural details – with a particular focus on the facades, which constitute a remarkable record of the city's history.

This well-known part of Rzeszów will reveal itself as more than just a popular pedestrian zone. It is a coherent, fascinating "veduta," revealing successive historical twists and turns and urban transformations.

The walk is an additional date in the series and takes place in place of the canceled meeting on March 24th; passes remain valid.

Meet the presenter:
Bartłomiej Pochopień – architect, graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Kraków University of Technology. He has collaborated with artists such as Marek Dunikowski, Stanisław Niemczyk, and Tomasz Koniora. He is a recipient of the Architecture of the Year of the Silesian Voivodeship award (2017) and the Young Creator of Silesian Architecture distinction. He designed the "New Core Exhibition" at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum (2014–2015). Since 2016, he has been conducting educational activities as part of the Academy of Architecture. He has received scholarships from the Ministry of Culture (2021) and the City of Tarnów (2020). In 2023, he initiated the "Architectural Primer" program for Tarnów schools and kindergartens. He regularly collaborates with the Tarnów Art Exhibition Office.
