Perspective Games: Body, Space and Imagination - Watercolor Drawing Workshops

We invite you to another watercolor drawing workshop! During the classes, we will learn the basics of one- and two-point perspective in simple compositions, observe and interpret the human body and space in unusual shots, as well as develop spatial imagination and creative courage.

Warm-up:
1. Drawing an object with another hand
• Drawing a simple object (e.g. a cup, a key) with your non-dominant hand.
• Activation of concentration and relaxation of perfectionism.
2. Endless line
• Drawing continuous lines for 2 minutes: wavy, zigzag, spiral.
• Warm-up for the hand and mind before the actual creative work.
Main tasks:
3. Self-portrait in perspective
• Drawing yourself from an unusual perspective: from above (large hands) or from below (large legs).
• Observing foreshortening and body proportions in space.
4. Street of my city
• Three quick sketches of the street with one vanishing point.
• Then - full work with color: a street with buildings, trees, urban details.
• Practicing perspective and building depth in the composition.
