Rockowa Noc from the Basement is a series of concerts in Rzeszów Piwnice preceding the September festival. On April 20, you will hear the legendary Rzeszów rock and metal band Jesus Chrysler Suicide (JCS). The next two concerts are scheduled for May 17 and June 15.
The Jesus Chrysler Suicide band was established in 1991 on the initiative of the singer, lyricist and composer Tomasz "Szamota" Rzeszutek. The combination of industrial rock, punk, metal, grunge and psychedelia, as well as a large dose of surrealism and black humor in the lyrics are the characteristic features of JCS's work. One of the greatest advantages of this band are concerts filled with a lot of energy flowing from the stage.
JCS played at many festivals, including: Jarocin, Odjazdy, Castle Party, Polnishe Independent Festival in Berlin, and Teuto Karpaten Beat in Bielefeld. The group also shared the stage with bands such as Life Of Agony, Pro Pain and VoiVod at their concerts in Poland.
On April 20, at Piwnice Rzeszów, the group will play a special concert based on material from the album "ROMP", which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The first album of the Jesuses is a noisy, garage "ride" with influences of psychedelia, punk rock and sharp lyrics opposing all manifestations of violence in various spheres of life. Journalists noticed the great potential of the group, praising "ROMP" with very good reviews:
