Park Kieszonkowy przed Willą Januszów, ul. Jagiellońska 24
On September 17, the premiere of the publication "Azimuth to Modernity – Willa Januszów" by Karolina Chomiczewska will take place in front of Willa Januszów (the headquarters of Estrada Rzeszowska).This book will be of particular interest to enthusiasts of modernist architecture, photography, and the history of Rzeszów. The book explores the remarkable story of Villa Januszów—the headquarters of Estrada Rzeszowska and the city's first modernist residential building.
Program highlights:
- an author meeting featuring special guests,
- an outdoor screening of the film *Rzeszowskie Janusze*,
- an opportunity to tour Villa Januszów,
- exhibitions titled "Jagiellońska 24" and "Plakat Estradowy" (Estrada Poster),
- an opportunity to purchase the book and get it signed by the author.

History of the Janusz Villa
The building’s history is closely linked to the Janusz family, owners of the renowned "E. Janusz" photography studio, which operated at 18 Sandomierska Street (now Grunwaldzka Street) from 1886 to 1951. The studio was founded by Edward Janusz; in later years, he ran the business alongside his wife, Leopoldyna, before their descendants took over the family enterprise—but that is a story for another time.
