Biomimicry – being inspired by nature – as conceptualized by Adrianna Gajdziszewska, is not about copying forms but decoding their hidden mechanisms. The artist reconfigures structures, processes, and adaptive systems. Her works tell the story of humanity immersed in an era of constant data flow and technological acceleration, where the boundaries between the organic and the digital are increasingly blurred. They are visual memes of modernity – combining intimate tropes with global narratives. The exhibition looks at the world through the eyes of a "living system" – a network of interdependencies in which the human is both a component and an observer. It is a story of constant adaptation and the search for reference points in a changing reality.

The artist about the exhibition:

For me, biomimicry is not merely a formal inspiration, but an artistic strategy that allows me to capture the rhythm and logic of the contemporary world. Instead of copying nature, I strive to reconfigure its codes – structures, processes, and adaptive systems – by transferring them into a space of speculative forms that resemble artifacts from the future.

In this approach, biomimicry becomes a tool for telling the story of humans operating in an era of constant data flow, technological acceleration, and the blurring of the boundaries between the organic and the digital. Hybrid objects function as visual memes of modernity – they combine intimate tropes with global narratives, private emotions with algorithms of cultural production.

This perspective from the perspective of a "living system" allows me to examine the condition of modernity as a network of dependencies in which humans are both a component and an observer. For me, biomimicry is a language for describing a world that defies simple definitions – like the protagonist of this exhibition, perpetually in the process of adaptation, "coping" with a reality without fixed points of reference.
