3 Maja Street is one of the oldest streets in Rzeszów, changing names over the years. First it was Zamkowa Street, then Pijarska Street, and finally Pańska Street. However, in the Rzeszów dialect it became known as Paniaga. The originator of the Paniaga Festival, which we have been celebrating since 2003, is Jerzy Fąfara - a poet, prose writer and screenwriter from Rzeszów. Every year on May 3, we turn the former Paniaga into a place full of numerous cultural events - concerts, performances, shows, shows. This event is also associated with a colorful and ceremonial procession and the Handicraft and Regional Products Fair, which lasts from May 1 to 3.

Gallery under the Town Hall
Exhibition of paintings by Leszek Kuchniak. Exhibition opening on May 2 at 18:00, exhibition available until May 14.
The exhibition consists of 20 paintings on the subject of city landscape - vedutes. We can find here, for example, representations of Paniaga in several versions, e.g. the painting painted for the cover of J. Fąfara's book: "Sallinger's Executioner's Razor". It became the prototype for the graphics of the Paniaga Festival. There are also paintings of other Polish cities - a record of the artist's outdoor routes. The whole thing was captured in Leszek Kuchniak's characteristic style, bordering on magical realism.

Parking lot of the Rzeszów Regional Development Agency
Participants of the Paniaga Festival will not only be able to have fun, but also help others by donating blood and signing up to the bone marrow donor database. All this thanks to the Motoserce campaign organized by the Steel Roses MC Rzeszów motorcycle club, which will take place in the RARR parking lot.

A fair of handicrafts and regional products
During the Paniaga Festival, a fair of regional products and handicrafts takes place every year. It will be located on Lubomirskich Avenue and al. Pod Kasztanami on May 1-3. Dozens of exhibitors will offer their products. We invite you from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This year's Paniaga Festival will be honored by the performance of the "VIVA SANTANA" Cichoński - Torres Band. This is a unique program and musical show by Leszek Cichoński and the master of percussion instruments Jose Torres, created to musically honor Carlos Santana. The repertoire of this project includes, in addition to Santana's songs, which are classics of guitar craftsmanship, new songs such as Smooth, and Santana's versions of Polish hits such as "Podaruj mi miłość from the Sun" by Bemibek and "Asfaltowe Łaki" by ABC. The presence of great musicians in the lineup - including jazz ones - allows for a very creative approach to Carlos Santana's music and interesting improvisations, which makes this project unique.
