Princess Anne, tired of courtly duties and a rigorous schedule of official visits, decides to escape her surroundings for a day and discover the delights of the Eternal City on her own. Along the way, she meets American journalist Joe Bradley. Their journey through sunny Rome becomes the beginning of an extraordinary adventure, full of humor, emotion, and unforgettable moments.
The film brought Audrey Hepburn worldwide fame, winning an Oscar for her performance, and the film itself remains one of the most recognizable cinema classics to this day.
