Teatr Nemno – organizer of the Teatralna Saturday series – this time invites young people and adults to a unique theatrical event.
"Nosferatu – A Plague Diary" by Teatr Łątek. The performance is inspired by Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula" and the film "Nosferatu – A Symphony of Horror" directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau. The performance is told through monochromatic shadow forms, taken directly from Murnau's film, using the technique of manual cinema – a manually advanced reel of film – a "film strip." The animated characters and plot help the audience understand whether, as residents of contemporary Wisborg, they are alive or simply not yet dead…? The performance was produced as part of the OFF Polska 2024 program of the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute.
