Excellent pitch and linguistic acrobatics – hallmarks of quality, stamps that Dorota Masłowska imprints on the pages of her books. The image of reality in her novels, plays, and short works takes on a caricatured dimension, but despite this (or perhaps because of it?), it says a lot about us here and now. What topics captivate her, how does the writer's diction evolve from "The Polish-Russian War Under the White-Red Flag" (2002) to "The Magic Wound" (2024), what compels her to guard her language so it doesn't fall into banality? We'll talk, interrogate her, and let her monologue take flight! Including the one written for several actors, our own, from Siemaszkowa. Climb the steps of absurdity and the truest truth with us. Maybe we won't fall from the top of the stairs!
Guest: Dorota Masłowska
Moderator: Jakub Pacześniak
