On October 18th, the Zorza Cinema will host a concert dedicated to Jimi Hendrix, "Thanks Jimi", featuring leading Polish guitarists, members of legendary bands: Dżem, Perfekt, Budka Suflera, Laboratorium:

The program of the "Thanks Jimi" concert was specially prepared by Leszek Cichoński, who says about himself "I've been a Hendrix fan since "When I was a little boy, Hey!"

On October 18th at the Zorza Cinema, together with the band and distinguished guests, he will perform his own versions of Jimi Hendrix hits, which can be heard, among others, on his album "Thanks Jimi Symphonic". The participation of guitar giants such as: Dariusz Kozakiewicz, Marek Raduli, Jerzy Styczyński, guarantees an experience of the highest caliber.
Special guests will be: the excellent vocalist Łukasz Drapała and Jose Torres, who this time will not play the congas, but the drums!

Leszek Cichoński - a valued Polish guitarist. He has performed at the largest blues festivals in the world, including the Monterey Bay Blues Festival in California and the Narooma Blues Festival in Australia.
The most spectacular undertaking he has carried out is "Thanks Jimi Festival" and the Guinness Guitar Record, which he organizes every year on May 1 in Wrocław.

In 2023, 7,967 guitarists played together, breaking their own Record again and the previous American Guinness Record more than three times.

He collaborated with, among others, the father of Polish blues Tadeusz Nalepa, the legendary jazzman Wojciech Karolak and great American bluesmen including Carlos Johnson and John "Broadway" Tucker.
His three albums: CD + DVD "Cichoński - The Best of Studio and Live", his own "Soba gram" and "Thanks Jimi Symphonic" were nominated for the prestigious Fryderyki awards 2009, 2012 and 2021. He was awarded the Bronze Medal in 2017, and the Silver Medal "Gloria Artis - Meritorious for Culture" awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the medal "meritorious for the City of Wrocław" in 2023.
