Hyphen Dash | European Culture Stadium 2026

Hyphen Dash is a Ukrainian quartet formed in 2019 by Myshko Birchenko (drums), Yevhen Puhachov (guitar, bass), Polina Maiboroda (keyboards, synthesizers), and Dmytro Startsev (keyboards, synthesizers).

The band fuses hip-hop, jazz, electronica, and prog-rock, creating instrumental music with unconventional structures and dense, cinematic soundscapes. Their work balances improvisation with precise composition, consistently pushing the boundaries of genres.

Hyphen Dash is part of the FUSION JAMS community, and Myshko Birchenko co-founded the No Time For Swing label. The band's work includes, among others: A live EP from the NAMU Museum, numerous singles recorded with artists from Ukraine and abroad, a mixtape with demos, the album Basement 626 (recorded 10 km from the front lines and recognized by Rolling Stone), and the album LATE, which they worked on for six years.

In 2026, the band embarked on a tour, presenting new material in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and Hungary.
