PROJECT CATEGORY - MUSIC
A concert created especially for the ESK under the artistic leadership of Khrystyna Kirik, a Ukrainian sound artist, composer and performer working with experimental improvised music and AV installations. Khrystyna uses DIY instruments, voice, film recordings and electronics to create immersive, contemplative experiences. She treats sound as a form of presence and awareness. Khrystyna Kirik is associated with the SHAPE+ platform, which brings together creators of innovative music and audiovisual arts in Europe, co-financed by the European Union and Pro Helvetia.
In Rzeszów, Khrystyna Kirik x Tymek Papior x Emiter will play an improvised set, sharing with each other and with the audience what has been inspiring them lately: musically, mentally and in all possible ways. They announce that it will be a mix of delicate noise, extended downtempo technique, experiments with electronics, self-built sound objects and voice.
