KLAWO / Concert

Klawo is an explosion of groove, emotion, and color. Drawing on the eclecticism of the 1970s—an era when funk, soul, fusion, and psychedelia were still too young to recognize themselves as separate genres—the band brilliantly blends old-school with contemporary post-Dill jazz, indie, and electronica. Inspired by both genre classics and outsider songwriters, the Gdańsk-based sextet has played over 80 concerts in 13 countries to date and is considered one of the most promising bands in contemporary Polish alternative music.

On March 28, 2025, Coastline Northern Cuts released their second LP, "2 Bobers and a Sunset." The album is the result of hours spent on the road, collaborative sessions, and collaborative composition. The band remains true to its principle of "democracy with diplomacy"—each contributing ideas, which the entire lineup develops. The result is an eclectic album full of surprises and stylistic twists.

Klawo was formed in Gdańsk in 2020. Their outstanding studio albums and energetic concerts have earned them a spot on Europe's most important stages – the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Eurosonic (the Netherlands), Fusion Festival (Germany), and in Poland, including Off Festival, Męskie Granie, Inside Seaside, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, and Jazz Around.

In 2023, Klawo was a finalist at the HEMI Music Awards and won first prize at the international Jazz in The Park competition in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. That same year, they released the live album "Live!" – recorded during the Sea You Tricity Music Showcase festival.
